You can start your first day in Kütahya with a local Aegean breakfast featuring luscious flavours. Then, you can visit Archaeology Museum, where pieces belonging to Palaeolithic since the Late Miocene period, and the Chalcolithic, Old Bronze, Hittite, Phrygian, Hellenistic, Roman, Byzantine, Seljuk and Ottoman periods are exhibited. You can stop by Kütahya Castle, a city landmark, before setting off to the Phrygian Valley, a 30-minute drive from the city. Discover the ruins in the valley, an ancient volcano covered with volcanic rock from the Turkmen mountain and inhabited by the Phrygians between BCE 900-600. You can take a revitalizing rest amid nature by camping in Domaniç Forests.
